The CONGres conference is an annual event, organised by biomedical- and (psycho)biology students of student association CONGO of the University of Amsterdam. This year’s theme is Apocalypse: Life after life ends and will be held on the 4th of December 2019. This will be the 13th year that student association CONGO will organise and host this annual conference. Over the last years the conference has grown from a select and small group of visitors to last year’s sold out event with over 150 visitors.

To make this event a highlight in the academic year we are inviting speakers who can greatly contribute to this conference with their research and knowledge.
The main speakers of this year will be Gerard Muijzer, Joris Buis, Ries Simons and Charissa de Bekker. We will host multiple parallel speakers as well.

A ticket for the conference can be bought for only €8,00 – €12,00 euros. This ticket will include a full programme with lectures, an experience room, dinner and drinks.

– The QR-code on your ticket will be checked at the info desk when you arrive at the congress. Please make sure you have downloaded or printed the ticked beforehand.
– If you bought a ticket with discount we will also ask for a student card or check your Congo membership or alumni status.
– Pictures will be taken during the event. You can mail to info@congo.eu if you don’t want your picture being published on our website.
– The tickets are non-refundable. Please sent an email to info@congo.eu if something went wrong with purchasing the ticket.
